The mobile app uses Adobe Air technology that enables simultaneous data export for iOS and Android devices, thus eliminating the need for separate programming of native apps, saving the client a significant proportion of development costs.
Content Management System
The data displayed in the application can be administered through a content management system that lets the client manage users, user groups, research results, or publish research for selected groups and send them PUSH notifications. Every research result supports uploads of pdf documents, images or texts. Also, the app contains an archive of all messages.
PUSH notifications
2muse Flash features PUSH notifications to inform the users about the results of the most recent research immediately. We implemented APNS (Apple Push Notification Service) for the iOS interface, and GCM (Google Cloud Messaging) for Android operating system, making the process of sending these messages convenient. The content management system lets the client define a new PUSH notification and then send it to a selected group of users of the app, immediately notifying them of the results of the research without the need to launch the app.
