Cooperation
We started working with the El Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse in 2009. Since then, the online world has changed significantly. Web standards significantly upgraded, focusing on mobile devices, new technologies and methods immerged. Our cooperation gave birth to a number of website updates; the most recent one is a slight redesign implemented in May 2012, keeping the Flash technology used before.
Technological solution
Now that at least 20% of customers visit the website via mobile devices, the shift from the Flash technology not supported by iOS was unavoidable, particularly for the restaurant with customers that prefer to learn more about its offer via their mobile devices.
Therefore, we designed a responsive webpage optimized for mobile devices. As part of the redesign we have also automatically implemented optimization for high-resolution screens (Retina).
Customer satisfaction survey
After filling out the booking form via the website, the customers receive an email linking them to a customer satisfaction survey. This automated survey system helps the restaurant get invaluable feedback directly from the customers and eliminate any minor shortcomings.
